Trinity Reformed Church is led by a leadership team of elders, deacons and minister. Our elders and deacons meet every other month together as Consistory and our elders and deacons meet on alternating months. Should you have any discussion items or agenda items for our leadership team, please contact the chairs. See the drop down menu below for more information.

Q: What does it mean for you to be a Deacon?

A: Being a deacon allows me to connect with Trinity Church more fully. Trinity supports me in many ways, but being a deacon allows me to support Trinity Church. Just going to church gives me time to center on me. Being a deacon gives me time to center on the whole body of Trinity Church. It is important to me to look outwards and help others.

Q: What do you do for fun?

A: Because we are snowbirds, my life has two very different styles. During the winter months, I am part of a 55+ community. I play golf, bocce ball, shuffleboard, cards, card bingo, bingo, socialize with others, and coordinate 3 times a week in these activities. My sister, who lives in Colorado, also comes here, so we get the opportunity to be close for a few months each year. In Michigan, I golf a lot! We have a large garden and maintaining our property takes time. We have a small pool that we use daily. Of course, there is always the Senior Breakfast!

Q: What is your favorite song/hymn to sing in church and why?

A: My all-time favorite hymn is now “VICTORY IN JESUS,” sung as a southern rock song. This gives me so much joy! Being part of a congregation, singing, clapping and feeling the pure joy of all of us is amazing!
